Precision CNC Routing, Fabrication & Workshop Capabilities

At Nomad CNC, our workshop is equipped with a large-format 2500 × 1300 CNC sheet router, designed for accurate and repeatable cutting across a wide range of sheet materials. This machine allows us to efficiently process full sheets while maintaining tight tolerances, making it ideal for both one-off custom projects and larger production runs.

Our CNC router is commonly used to cut materials such as plywood, hardwood timber, MDF, particle board, acrylic (Perspex), HDPE, polycarbonate, ACM (aluminium composite panel), PVC and other machinable sheet plastics. The machine produces clean, precise results suitable for cabinetry components, signage, architectural features, custom furniture, van fit-outs, jigs, fixtures and product manufacturing. The large working area allows us to maximise material yield while maintaining consistency across multiple parts.

In addition to our routing capabilities, we are currently in the process of installing a CNC plasma cutting system to expand our manufacturing services into metal fabrication. Once operational, this machine will allow us to cut steel, aluminium and other metals with the same level of precision and efficiency our customers expect from our CNC routing services.

To support our work in vehicle fit-outs, van conversions and custom automotive fabrication, the workshop is also equipped with a vehicle hoist and dedicated workspace for working on vans and 4WD platforms. This allows us to prototype, test and install custom components directly onto vehicles, ensuring accurate fitment and practical real-world performance.

Much of our work falls within the job shop and custom fabrication space, where projects often require a combination of design, prototyping and manufacturing. With backgrounds in industrial design, fabrication and hands-on manufacturing, Kasper and Adam bring a practical understanding of how products are designed, manufactured and used in real environments. This allows Nomad CNC to assist clients not only with machining parts, but also with developing custom solutions, refining designs and producing functional prototypes.

As our workshop continues to grow, our goal remains simple: to provide reliable CNC manufacturing services with precision, flexibility and attention to detail, whether that involves CNC routing, plasma cutting, vehicle-based fabrication or custom-built components.
